Exactly thirteen years ago, Dean of Medical Sciences (University of Pristina), Professor Tomislav Djokic, was expelled from his home in Pristina. Only few days ago, on the eve of The International Refugee Day, the house in which he was born was demolished to the ground.
‘Now, when I’ve left my house and my homeland – with all the ruins, I feel that the homeland is the place of heavenly brightness. Without it all the divine visions, dreams and imagination about my inner self disappear. Desensitization of humanity and generosity of people arises instead. The idea about the noble people and the virtuous world disappears.’
